How to use makeup items properly
After foundation, concealer? Before eyebrows, blush? It's debatable what products should go on your face first, which has led to disagreements on the best sequence to apply your makeup.
But don't
worry, we're taking the guessing out of applying makeup by breaking down the
precise steps, so you'll look beautiful. What is the general principle?
Consider the texture and lasting power of what you apply next after finishing
your skincare regimen (check the proper sequence to apply your skincare
products), and don't be afraid to make little adjustments to make the routine
work for you.

detailed instructions for application, along with some of our preferred
cosmetics, below. CALL US FOR MAKEUP ARTIST COURSE IN GURGAON
Step 1: Primer and colour corrector
It's not
necessary to use a primer or colour corrector, but if you do, you should apply
them right after your skincare routine. Your complexion will be more even and
smooth, and this will also help the product last longer.
Step 2: The base
No pun
intended, but foundation serves as the base upon which the rest of your makeup
is built. Selecting a formula that will improve your skin's tone and type can
aid your other items take effect. If you have even skin, you can omit
foundation altogether and mask your problem areas with a few spots of
concealer.
Step 3: Concealer
Always apply concealer after applying foundation to prevent overuse
of the product and prevent cakey skin. Use a Blender Brush to smooth the edges
after dabbing our buildable Cream Concealer in areas that need extra coverage
(under your eyes, over blemishes, etc.).
Step 4: Blush, bronzer, and highlighter
Add a
splash of colour to your cheeks with blush, get your glow on with a dazzling
highlighter, or try contouring with our Mineral Bronzer to complete your look.
If you decide to apply both powder and creams, layer them first.
Step 5: Mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow
Apply
mascara after using eyeshadow and eyeliner since coated lashes might get in the
way of perfecting winged liner.
Step 6: eyebrows
Your
eyebrows should be as intense as the rest of your makeup, so use our Cream Brow
Pencil to define and fill in your brows to coordinate with your whole
appearance. (Pro tip: Steps 4, 5, and 6 can be switched around based on your
preferences.)
Step 7: Lips
Applying
your lip colour is always a nice last step in your makeup regimen, whether
you're just dabbing on some tinted gloss or doing a full look with liner and
lipstick, because it's the easiest to reapply as the day goes on.
Step 8: Setting Powder or Spray
These two
products (try our Sea Mineral Hydra Mist or Mosaic Illuminator) are designed to
help your makeup last longer and look better as the day goes on; apply them
just before you head out the door. You can use one, both, or neither.
